Hutch Astrology service is completely different from the traditional “Star Sign” based readings which are available on newspapers, TV, radio etc. Hutch Astrology service develops astrological readings based on Birth Date, Birth Time and Birth Place of each and every customer etc.
You will be given astrology predictions by an Astrology Specialist by Deshabandu Sumanadasa Abeygunawardana, an astrology adviser to H.E. the President of Sri Lanka.
Is this service provided to all Hutch users?
Yes. Hutch Astrology service is now provided to Hutch postpaid and pre-paid customers via SMS, but very soon customers can also get this service via IVR.

What kind of Astrology service / contents can I get from this service?
There are 03 services available. You can choose any of the following packages as your preference.
- Daily Reading (Personalized Horoscope reading via SMS)
- Numerology (Get your personality analyzed, and discover the real you)
- Panchanga (Match your best times ahead of time according to ancient Vedic Astrology)
At what time can I get these astrology predictions?
- Daily Readings (usually 2 messages) will be pushed to the subscribers starting from 7am every day
- “Panchanga” Messages will be pushed to the subscribers starting from 7am every day
- Numerology Messages will be pushed to the subscribers on Monday’s and Thursday’s starting from 7am
Messages will be sent to the subscribers from the next day of subscription.
Ex: If a subscriber registered on July 18th, he will get the first message on July 19th.
How can I register with this service?
To register with any service, initially customer has to dial *336# USSD Code and select the preferable language. After that customer can select the service he/ she wish to activate. Once customer subscribes and confirm the registration, USSD will prompt the Registration Success reply message.

Can I get my preferred language for this service?
Yes, you can get astrology prediction SMS in either Sinhala or English.
Can I subscribe to more than one service package?
Yes, you can but if you want a Numerology service, it is mandatory to register with the Horoscope Service & Special Announcements.
What are the charges applicable for this service?
- Charging 1: Daily Reading Rs 30.00 + taxes per month.
- Charging 2: Numerology Rs 20.00 + taxes per month.
- Charging 3: Panchanga Rs 20.00 + taxes per month.
* Charging are based on subscription model and Micro Charging will be applied. The subscriber will be charged only if his profile creation is completed (i.e: Birth Place, Birth Time and etc. is filled).
If the information I have given is incorrect, can I have the chance to re-correct them?
Yes, you can correct your information by dialing *336#, and editing your entries as Birth Date / Time / Place.
How to deactivate this service?
Customers can deactivate the service at any given time.
If you want to deactivate the service you have to make the request by dialing *336# USSD code with your chosen package name.
