Eligibility to buy the lotteries

  • The user should be a Sri Lankan Citizen whose age is above 18.
  • The user has to possess a valid National Identity Card number.

How to Purchase lotteries

Users can purchase any of the lotteries on subscription or on-demand basis through SMS, USSD & WEB channels.

Subscription model

To receive ticket/s whenever there is a draw

Via USSD

Both the subscription and on demand modes are supported via #811#. Customers can simply dial #811# from their mobile and follow incrustations.

Via Web (www.811.lk)

All the features that are available in SMS and USSD is available at www.811.lk with advanced options of checking the wallet balance, manage subscriptions, checking lottery results and ticket history.

Charging for the tickets

The user will be charged at the time of each ticket delivery based on the credit availability on his/her mobile or the NLB wallet (NLB wallet is described at the next section)

Each ticket is priced at Ticket fee of LKR 20 + Convenience fee of LKR 4 & Applicable taxes

Users can subscribe to multiple lotteries or buy on-demand maximum of 10 tickets per one time

What is the DLB wallet?

Wallet in this context is a virtual wallet (Digital wallet) attached to each user’s registered account. This wallet will save all the winning amounts up to LKR 100 and provide the facility to purchase next ticket/s at LKR 20
